Cognitus, in conjunction with Glenn Boyle (ISCR, Victoria University of Wellington), prepared an economic appraisal of the arguments presented by the Minister of Commerce in support of the registration of Unlisted under the Securities Markets Act 1988.
Not only did the appraisal form the cornerstone of our successful rebuttal of the case for registration in 2005, but also supported our successful application for an exemption from the licensing provisions of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 in 2015.
The material was prepared subject to a strict timing and budget constraint and was of the highest professional standard, sustaining the expert scrutiny of officials and opponents to the Unlisted business case both in 2005 and 2015. Quality endures.
